Pilates with purpose: giving back to our Community.

Acuity Pilates Studio supports a number of community causes through our charitable partnerships. From education and mental health to trans rights and domestic violence, we donate 10% of all class proceeds to a wide range of causes and charitable organizations throughout Canada.

Giving by the Numbers

There are a number of incredible local charities making a positive impact in our communities, but many don’t have adequate resources to raise awareness for their cause or the funding to effectively undertake the important work they do.

Our contributions help these organizations make a direct impact: They are creating real, positive change where we live and addressing critical local issues to help those who need it most. By supporting their causes, we're not just giving back, we're investing in the future of our community and fostering a stronger, more connected place that we're proud to call home.

Here’s how we’ve helped to date:

Indigenous Friendship Society of Revelstoke

The Indigenous Friendship Society of Revelstoke (IFSR) aims to foster and build support for Indigenous people, heritage and culture within their community.

IFSR is working towards creating a physical place of friendship for local and neighbouring Indigenous people and supporters, acting in friendship with all the neighbouring First Nations and providing a place of peace and connections.

The society recognizes that the Revelstoke area was historically once a meeting place of several First Nations, including the Sinixt, Secwépemc, Ktunaxa and Syilx First Nations.
