Empowering bodies, minds, and our community through online Pilates.
Acuity Pilates Studio is a community-based online Pilates studio on a mission to make Pilates more accessible and inclusive. By offering affordable, open-level classes to everyone, regardless of their fitness level, skill level, or location, we provide a supportive and welcoming online class environment that fosters wellness, personal growth and community engagement.
Community Building Through Pilates
From the day we started offering online Pilates classes in 2021, our goal has been to give back to charitable causes in our community that are close to our hearts. To date, we’ve donated more than $6,000 to charities across Canada.

Jane brings empathy, curiosity, creativity, and humour with her to every class - as well as a genuine love of movement and holding space for others as they spend focused time connecting mind, body, and spirit.
With over a decade of experience as a contemporary dance artist and Pilates teacher, she is fascinated by the staggering intelligence of the body and the beauty of human design, and is humbled every day by what she doesn’t know and has yet to discover. She sees teaching and sharing this work as a way to be curious and feel things together.
The performer in Jane shines when she teaches - there tends to be a fair number of hand gestures, full body enactments of how something "feels”, sound effects, and a few bad jokes. She loves to hear about her students' experiences and uses all feedback to inform her teaching, to help her be as thoughtful as possible with exercise selection, progression, and explanation.
When she isn’t teaching, Jane takes her love of movement outside, mountain biking, kiteboarding, hiking, camping, gardening, and skiing. Or you can find her in the kitchen baking and cooking up a storm.
Jane lives in Revelstoke (where she also runs her home studio, Tiny Goat Pilates & Movement) with her soon-to-be-hubby and furry roommates (one pup and two cats).

Curious, compassionate and pragmatic, Kobi's purpose is to help people feel more graceful and joyful in their movement.
With over 20 years of experience as a Pilates instructor and physiotherapist, Kobi is a lifelong teacher and thrives in group class environments. She’s focused on giving her students the tools they need to move more easily through their lives and feel empowered as their bodies get stronger. She is also a passionate community builder who believes in supporting both local and national charitable organizations and their causes.
As well as teaching at Acuity, Kobi works as a physiotherapist at Kinesphere Therapy, where she integrates Pilates and movement therapy into her clinical practice.
When she isn’t teaching, you can find Kobi connecting with nature or immersing herself in new cultures and foods while travelling the world.
Kobi lives in Vancouver with her dog, Taco, who is the apple of her eye, and who pops his head into class to say hi from time to time.

“Exactly the right intensity for me at my stage. The program worked out all the kinks. Jane was great and offered lots of encouragement.”

“I love getting feedback on my form. Too many in-person classes will not give feedback that's person-specific, and I love hearing my name accompanied by things I need to think about. It's so helpful.”
— Rina L
“Kobi explains the movements and exercises in such a way that it's easy to follow and know you are using the right muscles. The movements and exercises she takes us through are unique and targeted; I always feel taller and stronger after every class.”

“Jane is a thoughtful, talented teacher. Even though I've only done Zoom classes, she can still accurately assess my movement and helps me improve my technique with awesome cueing.”
